Keshi pearls are one of our all time favorites. Rare in their appearances, they are sure to make an impact. Keshi pearls are unique in that they do not have a nucleus. Making them the closest pearl to a 100% natural pearl you can find. As these pearls do not have a nucleus their shape is flatter than most, and they are usually smaller. This long necklace consists of Tahitian Keshi pearls graduating from 8mm to 7mm. The luster is extremely high, and the Nacre very thick. This creates a metallic-like black radiance which is absolutely phenomenal. The shape is unique to Keshi and beautiful in its natural look. These are marvels of nature, perfectly capturing the life essence of the oysters who created them.
We individually knot each pearl in the necklace with a 14K white gold spring-ring clasp. The clasp in itself adds a lovely touch to the necklace. Our Japanese technique of stringing guarantees a soft finish, allowing the necklace to lay perfectly on your natural contours. These rare gifts from the ocean are a wonderfully rare addition to your pearl collection.
Each piece is assembled and inspected in our Tokyo showroom. Pearls are hand-selected from our wholesale inventory for consistent luster and surface quality, then matched and set by our in-house team with decades of expertise.
