This is a great twist on a classic item. As this is a Japanese Akoya pearl it is very strong in luster, however it is not perfectly round, rather misshapen. This gives it a unique look with which one can dress it up or down according to the occasion. The fact that these pearls are not round make them priced extremely reasonably which makes purchasing a few strands to make a long necklace very affordable. Don't be shy to wear even three strands as it will present some breathtaking design versatility!
