Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy

At Pearls.jp (by AMIT Trading), every piece is carefully inspected before shipping. We take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our jewelry, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we'll do our best to make it right.

Shipping

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. If the item purchased is a special customized order, or if it requires a complicated manufacturing process, this may affect the processing time — we will let you know in that case.

2. Domestic Shipping (Japan)

We offer free domestic shipping for all orders within Japan.

3. In-Store Pickup

Our in-store pickup hours are 10:00–17:30, Monday through Friday, at our Roppongi showroom. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come. We recommend checking with us that the order is ready before you arrive.

4. International Shipping

We ship to all countries. International shipping is free using EMS. If you would like expedited shipping, please contact our staff to coordinate a FedEx shipment (additional US $100).

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Pearls.jp is not responsible for these charges — they are your responsibility as the customer.

5. Order Tracking

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification including a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for tracking information to become available.

If you haven't received your order or relevant updates from us within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at [email protected] with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Returns & Refunds

6. Return Period & Eligibility

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be returned in its original packaging.

Please note that we cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom-made or personalized jewelry
  • Items that have been worn, resized, or altered
  • Items damaged after delivery
  • Gift cards

A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email.
If your return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original method of payment.

Please note:

  • Payment processing and handling fees charged by our payment providers are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after the returned item has been received and approved.

8. Exchanges (Defective or Damaged Items)

We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged.
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at [email protected], including your order number and clear photos of the issue.
Once confirmed, we will provide instructions for exchange or repair.

9. Sale & Custom Orders

Sale or promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Custom-made or personalized pieces are created specifically for you and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.

10. International Returns

For international customers, please mark your package as "Returned Goods" to avoid import duties.
We are not responsible for customs fees, taxes, or delays resulting from incorrect labeling or local regulations.

11. How to Return

Customers are responsible for their own return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returns.
